The Nyamien have two official planetary languages, as determined by the kritarchs. Nyamien Legal is notorious throughout the galaxy as "what grammatical features do you have?" "Yes." It is the single most specific language in the galaxy, and leads to the Single Worst Linguistic Experience Ever when mixed with Chrozan's limitted vocabulary. The language, when spoken, has a deep tone to it. It's notably dental, nasal, tonal, with glottal fricatives and dental stops, as well as primarily middle vowels. Their grammar is rigidly SVO.
